Someone at school died today. Not at school, but he was in my World Philosophy class. I think his name was Mason, but I'm not 100% sure. Anyways, in Japanese class this morning, Sensei said that it was only attempted suicide and that he was still at OHSU (Oregon Health and Science University). After lunch in my math class, the teacher told us that he had died at 4:30 this morning. He showed us the letter that the principal send out to help clear up the rumors. It didn't say that he committed suicide or if it was an accident. It only said that he died and that we could go to a counselor to help us cope or write letters to the family. If you are religious, please pray for the family. If you are not, a small moment of silence would suffice.

I find it strange that this has effected me this much. I never spoke to him before, even if he was in my class. I was thinking about it all the way home. I got home and put my stuff away as usual, but for some reason, I felt compelled to lay down on the couch and watch whatever was on TV. This is a rather strange thing since I don't normally watch TV right after school. I watched 3 episode of CSI and even talked to my father about it. It's not often that I tell my father what happens during school, but I just felt the need to tell him...

Also, I got hit in the eye with something and had to put ice on it. For some reason, a lot of my guy friends want to go hurt the guy who did it. He didn't do it on purpose or anything. *Sigh* My friends can be so protective of me...
